How much will I save with reglazing vs. replacement
Reglazing is the way to go if you DO NOT want remodel your entire bathroom. It can save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars over replacement. While a brand new bathtub may only cost as little as $300 there are hidden costs such as removal and disposal cost, plumbing alterations, and tile work. These costs add up and you can easily end up spending nearly $2,500 to replace your bathtub.
How long does the bathtub refinishing process take
Our reglazing process typically only takes 2-5 hours to complete. You can use you use the fixture the next day.
Does the Tub Doctor offer a warranty
We offer an industry leading 5 year warranty for residential work and 2 years for high traffic commercial jobs like hotels, motels, military bases and university housing.
How do I care for my new reglazed fixture
All reglazed surfaces should be cleaned with a non-abrasive mild cleanser. We recommend Dow Scrubbing Bubbles, Mr Clean or Fantastic. The newly reglazed surface will be completely smooth and your grout lines will be sealed (if tile is reglazed), leaving a surface that is non-porous and resistant to mold, mildew and dirt. This surface will only require light cleaning with a mild detergent such as the ones recommended. No scrubbing or scouring will be needed.
Will my reglazed bathtub look like it has been painted
Absolutely not it will look very much like a new tub. In fact our technicians pride themselves on the fact that it is quite difficult for an untrained eye to tell the difference between a new bathtub and a reglazed one.
Is there an odor while the work is being done
Our technicians come equipped with full ventilation systems for occupied units to extract odors that naturally occur with our process. You may notice a slight odor after we are finished this typically is gone within a few hours.
What other surfaces does the Tub Doctor work on

The Tub Doctor Co. was established in 1985 giving us over 26 years of professional reglazing experience. We only use the highest quality materials in our refinishing process but our technicians are what set us apart. Unlike other companies we are bonded and insured for you safety.
Is the new finish the same as the original finish
No it’s not. Anyone that even hints that it is porcelain is deceiving you. To duplicate a porcelain finish the fixture needs to be fired in a kiln at 2500 degrees not practical in a home! It’s a synthetic which when applied hardens to a beautiful high gloss porcelain-like luster. The Tub Doctor formula is a unique process developed specifically for bathtubs. It is laboratory tested to meet the highest standards of product performance and quality. Our long list of satisfied customers proves that claim and guarantees your complete satisfaction.
